How to Use the Item Multiplier

When creating a Purchase Order, DPO allows you to enter an amount together with a corresponding rate. In some cases, however, an additional multiplier is needed to represent the purchase correctly.
When to use the Item Multiplier
The Multiplier feature is useful when a Purchase Order item requires an additional calculation factor. For example, you may need to book 5 hotel rooms for 10 nights at a rate of 150 USD per night. In this case, the additional multiplier field allows you to include both the number of rooms and the number of nights in the Purchase Order calculation.
Enable the Multiplier feature
To activate the feature, go to Settings and open the PO Settings tab. Enable the Multiplier feature and it will be available for immediate use.
Add more flexibility to Purchase Order calculations
The Item Multiplier gives you an additional field for Purchase Order items that require more than a standard amount-and-rate calculation. Once enabled, it can be used whenever an additional multiplier is needed within your purchasing process.
