How to Flag Purchase Orders

Flags in DPO allow you to categorize Purchase Orders directly within the View section. You can define the purpose of each flag yourself and create multiple user-defined flags in different colors to organize your Purchase Orders according to your own requirements.
Create custom flags
To set up your flags, go to Settings and select the Flags tab. Add a new flag at the top of the page, then assign it a name and a color. There are no predefined flag categories, so you can decide for yourself what each flag should represent. You can also create multiple flags for different purposes.
Enable permission to flag Purchase Orders
Before using the feature, make sure you have permission to flag Purchase Orders. Go to Settings, open the Users tab and edit your user profile. Activate the Can Flag POs checkbox to enable the feature for your account.
Assign flags to Purchase Orders
Once your flags have been created, return to the View section. The corresponding flag icons will appear on the left-hand side of each Purchase Order. Simply click the relevant flag icon to assign that category to the Purchase Order. This allows you to organize POs directly from the Purchase Order list.
Filter Purchase Orders by flag
You can also use your flags to find categorized Purchase Orders quickly. Open Filter Options and select the flag you want to search for.
DPO will then display all Purchase Orders that have been assigned that particular flag, making it easier to find and manage specific groups of POs.
Organize Purchase Orders with custom flags
The Flag feature gives you a flexible way to categorize Purchase Orders according to your own needs. By combining custom names, colors and filtering options, you can create a simple structure for identifying and managing different groups of Purchase Orders.
